Narrow Band UVB

NBUVB are short wavelength light and penetrates the skin superficially with minimal side effects compared to systemic treatments.

Ultraviolet B (UVB) phototherapy delivers shortwave ultraviolet radiation to treat skin conditions such as psoriasis.

Phototherapy works by suppressing DNA synthesis, which in turn reduces inflammation.

Narrowband UVB phototherapy (311–312 nm) optimizes exposure and treatment times while minimizing the risk of burning and aging compared to natural sunlight or tanning beds.
